The unique housing design features a rugged body construction with flexible ribbed sides for quick installations. No glue or screws are needed for mounting; small ribs on the housing hold the contact in place. With the SH-12, you can feel safe and secure. The 11-mm (0.43”) wide gap distance helps prevent false alarms caused by loose fitting doors. Encased in an elegantly designed shell, the SH-12 inconspicuously blends into any environment.

Easy to install, the magnetic contact uses no glue or screws to mount. It features an 11-mm (7.16-in.) operating gap and high grade magnets.

The contact and magnet housings are made of flame-retardant ABS plastic. The housing has three ribs that press-fit against the inside of a 9.65-mm (0.38”) diameter mounting hole. The reed switch is protected and held in place by a polyurethane potting material.
